IGDILab release new IGDI-APEL udpates
The IGDI-APEL application now has new features our partners have been asking for and new ways to review and understand data.
The IGDILab team has been hard at work to develop new features that make assessment easier for educators to use in their classroom routines, as well as new features that support improved data interpretation. This release includes:
- The new and improved Computer Adaptive Testing engine, allowing all children to receive assessment items that are tailored to their unique ability.
- A new Meaningful Scaled Score (MSS) that allows for easier interpretation of scores.
- An updated interface that support Spanish speaking teachers in using the app in Spanish.
- A focus on new strengths-based langauge to understand children's performance and progress, helping all educators view children through a lens of their potential skills, rather than through a deficit model.
